Bill Kenagy writes: Our Heartland South District trip to the Methodist Habitat in Eleuthera, Bahamas was absolutely amazing. The opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ are abundant. We had the opportunity to work with the Johnson’s who had lost their home and belongings to fire and we also assisted the Mackey family with their new home. They were living in substandard housing following hurricane Floyd. We also experienced a wonderful culture and also had the opportunity to grow spiritually ourselves.
Max I also wanted to ask you to refer interested team leaders to this opportunity. They are under the leadership of Abraham McIntyre. The Habitat is in great need of completing the two projects that we worked on and can also use help with supplies to support incoming teams. If anyone shows interest in this area please feel free to have them contact me to share our experience. I am providing you with the wish list for the Habitat and contact information.
