Churches across the state are being enlisted to make at least one quilt for the Auction. The Auction begins at 12 noon on Festival Saturday. The quilts are hung on the Mathewson Arena floor by Friday afternoon and can be viewed until 9:45 am that morning. Some quilts will be part of the traveling Quilt Festival! These are quilt shows hosted by Church Women United and local congregations around the state. The Quilt Festivals provide an opportunity for bidders to see the quilts prior to Festival of Sharing weekend and pre-bids can be made at these events.
